What a sad day.
So I came home from my second trip this month. I've been away from home and my computer for 3 weeks in June. I was so excited about visiting Roni's site, the boards and others blogs. Sadly, I found out it's all been lost. I ended up gaining almost 5 pounds in June due to traveling so I was extra excited to get back to my online community to get encouragement, ideas and support to get back on program. Well, instead of finding what I needed, I find myself recreating my community. Hopefully it won't take long and we'll all be back together again!!

I'm back
Italy was wonderful! We had an amazing time, saw lots of sites, walked around the cities, took lots of pictures and ate great food. Honestly, I didn’t even think about points. We walked EVERYWHERE and I could tell my clothes were fitting better due to all the walking… so I backed off the points and enjoyed the pasta, bread and gelato! It was great. Now I’m back in the US and will start pointing again. I’m going to the grocery store later today, so the points will begin tomorrow- since we have no WW friendly food in the house right now!
I did weigh in this morning and I lost a tenth of a pound while I was gone. I really thought I would have gained at least 4-5 pounds, but I didn’t! I’m at 145.4 now. Still more than I would like to be after almost 2 months of WW, but it’s still lower than my starting point!

One More Day
We leave for Italy tomorrow night! I’m all packed and I think I’m ready to go. I haven’t finished everything at work, but I still have tomorrow. It’s very hard to be away from work for 2 weeks!
Today I didn’t do great with my points, but I wasn’t too bad either…
Breakfast- 2 points
Fiber One Bar- 2
Lunch- 9 points
spaghetti- 6
sauce- 3
green beans- 0
Dinner- 12 points
Taco Bell Bean Burrito no cheese- 7
Taco Bell soft taco (beef) no cheese- 4
WW chocolate snack cake-1
23 points. I didn’t have time to exercise. I was at work until 6:45 and still didn’t get “my list” for today finished!
Tomorrow will be my last day to “point” for the next 2 weeks. I’m going to TRY to not eat everything in sight while I’m in Italy, and I will be concious of how many high point foods are in front of me. Hopefully I’ll do enough walking that my weight will at least stay the same…or close to it!

22 points. I also went to curves this morning, did 2 rotations and stretched. I got alot done at work today before my Italy trip, so that was good. I also SOLD MY HOUSE today! I moved in with my husband in March after we married and my house finally sold… there’s a contract at least. Closing is after our trip!

Have any of you heard of only 8 Frozen Yogurt?
If my calculations are right, one serving (1/2 cup) is 1 point, 2 servings (1 cup) is still just 1 point, 3 servings (1 1/3 cups) is just 2 points and 4 servings (2 cups) is just 3 points. That’s a whole lotta “ice cream” or frozen yogurt for 3 points! The only down side, that I have found, is that there is 0 fiber. But, there are other things I eat without fiber.
I tried the white chocolate tonight. It wasn’t great, but was only 1 point of “not great!” It tasted more like vanilla- and I’m not a vanilla fan. I have a meeting in that same shopping center tomorrow, so I’ll go back and try the chocolate.

boooooo
Today was my weigh in day. I gained 1.1 pounds. How? I went back over my menus and yes, there were days where I went over my points, but I dind’t use all my flex points and didn’t count any of my activity points. And I exercised every day. This is so frustrating. I’ve been loosing for 5 weeks and this week I do the exact same thing and gain. I was so frustrated that after my lunch, I just continued to eat. Dinner was sensible, but this afternoon wasn’t. 30 points today alone. I’ve used 10 of my flex points already in one day. I was hoping I would loose more than just 8 pounds before our Italy trip. I don’t want to worry about “points” while I’m in Italy, but i don’t want to gain a ton either. This could be a once in a lifetime trip for me and I don’t want to miss out of the experience by not eating the great food. AHHH. I’m frustrated.

25 points again. That seems to be my magic number this weekend! I think I may have used 25 activity points yesterday too! We went to a state park to hike, climb rocks and look at falls. Then we went to some caverns. We probably walked/ hiked at least 4miles- if not more. Then when we got home I ran approximately 2 miles. I will clock it today in my car to see how far it really was. It took me right at 20 minutes and I’ve been keeping a pretty steady 10 minute mile this week.
I feel very bloated this weekend. I’m not sure why. I’ve looked back over my menus to see if anything sticks out and I can’t really find anything. Maybe it’s too many vegetables- asparagus, broccoli and cauliflower. I’ll cut back and see if that helps. I also went back over the past 7 days to see how many pionts total I’ve used. I’ve used 20 points 6 days and 18 points one day. I’ve also used 25.5 of my flex points. I don’t count my activity points, so I guess I’ve done alright staying on track. I just feel like I’ve been horrible all week. Maybe it’s the stress of getting things ready at work so I can be away for the next 2 weeks. I’m also stressed about what I’ll eat while in Italy. ALL my meals for the next 2 weeks (beginning Friday June 1) will be eaten out. I’m hoping there are lots of fruit stands in Italy where I can at least grab something healthy for a snack! If I have room in my suitcase I’m also going to pack some snacks to take that aren’t fatty and gross. Gotta work now. Later.
